finding God
A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of Root Beer and he started his journey When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him a Twinkie. He gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. His smile was so pleasant that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy? "He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? God's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!" Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked," Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected." unknown author

The world needs a total change. Yep, change is often born from a spark of creativity and a vision that challenges the norm. With my surreal, eerie perspective, I could be part of that shift. Art has the power to inspire, provoke, and even lead to transformation. What a world it would be if everyone saw through a lens of wonder and fear like mine.

![]() "The true horror of existence is not the fear of death, but the fear of life. It is the fear of waking up each day to face the same struggles, the same disappointments, the same pain. It is the fear that nothing will ever change, that you are trapped in a cycle of suffering that you cannot escape. And in that fear, there is a desperation, a longing for something, anything, to break the monotony, to bring meaning to the endless repetition of days." — Albert Camus, The Fall

Am I the only one who doesn't find any appeal in slave boys who will serve people in heaven, flowing wine, gardens, golden palaces and stuff like that? This might have been the concept of paradise for Arabs around 1400 years ago, but I don't share their opinion since the unseen is beyond human comprehension and imagination. It's like I'm aiming for something I don't even want. I'd rather not exist, than spend eternity fuming in forests

Good evening everybody! I have not been practising my english for quite a bit now. For the exception of listening skill. But when it comes to writing, reading and speaking those areas suffer a lot. Just to give you some image of my english level. This text is some version of the english language that somehow keeps in my mind. Definitely there is something missing out there. And as you know, there is no point studying anything , if you don’t practice it. There for I would like to practice and improve in the language more. If you see my mistakes, please let me know. Thank you. Regards.

Nobody's perfect, as they say, especially if English is not your native language. But as you have mentioned before - it is all about practice. I have highlighted some mistakes of yours that I spotted. Firstly, any language must be written with a capital word, i.e.English. Secondly, it is better to use "listening comprehension" if you want to tell about your ability or proficiency in listening, writing or reading of any foreign language. Thirdly, there should be therefore. In conclusion, If your word "practice" comes from American English then it's Ok to use it both as a noun and a verb. But in a classical British English practice is a noun and practise is a verb. ATB! Have a nice day!
